Don't miss the Illuminations Switch on Friday 2nd September 2011. Guests still to be confirmed. The Illuminations are running this year from. Friday 2nd September – Sunday 6th November 2011.
For the first time in decades the 2011 Switch On show will be on the promenade on the newly completed Tower Headland. It will be the first time since the early Illumination days that the crowd will be able to watch the Switch On Concert and see the promenade Illuminate when the lucky celebrity flicks the switch.

Also, Ride The Lights Illuminations preview August 2011 for those who want to enjoy seeing the lights from the comfort of their bicycle without the usual traffic on the promenade. It is a great way to see the Illuminations before the official switch on and get some exercise at the same time. (Date still to be confirmed) |
